My initial thought, when I woke up this morning, was to bring my laptop to bed and stay there for the rest of the day. That's the usual effect that a rainy day has on me. Sometimes, it is hard to get rid of a melancholic and lazy feeling, but today I did not want to follow the usual pattern of my crappy weather behavior. 

Instead of hiding at home in my sweatpants and sweatshirt, I did my full face makeup, wore a bright coloured dress, high heel boots, trench coat, and a hat, and went for a walk with my husband. Honestly, you don't need a special occasion to look good. As much as I love the comfy clothes that I wear at home, wearing something that makes me feel good about myself is much better. I mean, who doesn't like feeling great about the way they look, right? A rainy day is not a reason to stay in bed, looking like a bum. Get your butt up, and do something that makes you happy. :) 

While walking near the beach, and trying to take awesome pictures, we almost got hit by a huge ocean wave. It was something that made us laugh, and sharing that simple moment with Jude was unforgettable. :)
